Colorado Elk Hunt on TV

I wish I could remember the name of the show I watched. Sportsmans or Outdoor channel. The fellow was hunting a ranch in Colorado with his muzzy. The muzzy was scoped and he was shooting a Barnez TEZ bullet. (sabot). Do the CO muzzy regulations not apply if you are hunting a ranch?? I don't know so I am just curious. Thanks guys.

I know you can use scope/sabot in CO when hunting during rifle season. If during a actual mzldr season then you are restricted. So guessing since a RFW tag can use any weapon any time then you are not restricted with normal mzldr restrictions.

Thank guys. That explains it. I didn't think about it being an any weapon season. However, I still didn't know the Sabot was legal with the any weapon permit. Good info. Thanks again.
