Colorado Unit 751 3rd Season

Success rates look pretty decent in 751 Colorado for third elk season, can anyone please let me know if most of the elk during third season are killed on private?

I have hunted the unit before during archery but was worried about third season all the elk could be down on private and that was why success was higher then

It's hard for me to look at the success rates on the CPW page. I have yet to be asked if I was successful or not and no one that I know has ever been asked either. Wondering where they get their data.
I think if there is some good snow, they'd be down on Indian land and private pretty quick. A mild 2nd and 3rd season, they'll still be in NF

I hunted there 2nd season last year. The weather was pretty warm and we had a hard time finding any elk sign. Got into some snow up high above Lemon lake and that's the only place we were able to get into elk.

we hunted the country north of Vallecito Lake, we found some elk in September in the higher elevations.
