I was out yesterday and the muley hunting was pretty slow with the blue bird skies. I decided to try some rattling, but figured its noon and gorgeous out. The first attempt yeilded the smaller whitie which practically landed on me within 3 minutes. I didn't even have my camera turned on yet. He snorted and spooked when the camera fired up. He was at about 15 feet. I slammed the antlers together again and he stopped, turned and came back about 20 feet. I took the pic. The next rattling session, yeilded the big whitie. He was awesome. If I would have ha a late season permit, I might have had to think about tagging him instead of a mulie. Another buck came in behind me but I couldn't turn, I had this guy at 10 yards right in frot of me. I never saw what size he was. It was kind of interesting being between two bucks. The other was a nice three point mulie. I saw one big four, but he slipped away without me getting his photo.
