Yeah, I agree with you guys that mention that a guide wouldn't want his hunter calling. It could actually HURT your hunt!
The Hoochie Mama is for hunters that don't have time or interest in mastering better calls. It will occasionally call in a bull but everybody has one and it has become less effective.
I agree that the Hyper Lip is a great call when blown properly. I like the single.
Mouth calls are only effective if a guy really knows how to run them- very few people really do.
I recently purchased Steve Chappell's "Matriarch" Open Reed call. It sounds amazing and I can't wait to use it this fall!
Also bought a couple of his mouth diaphragms. They sound great and are easy to blow too.

Cool video on there of some big bulls being called in with these calls!
You might check out some elk hunting videos. You don't need to "elk call" to stop a bull for a shot. A deer grunt with your voice works every time. Saw it on the Primos videos and then on Chappell's Extreme Bulls so I tried it. Believe me, it works.
Good luck on your hunt. Save your calling for your DIY hunts and practicing. Keep your call in your pocket on this hunt unless you get lost IMO, Your guide will love you for that.
