Do you think Colorado will ever allow crossbows durring archery season ?

Pretty unlikely. Muzzle loaders are required to be very primitive I'd guess they will keep archery the same way even though crossbows have been around for over 1k years.

Hopefully Crossbows will never be allowed during archery season here...............except for disabled permitees. There are already enough undisciplined arrow flingers out there as it is. You can already hunt during 4+ seasons with a crossbow here anyhow.

Not in the near future (5 years or so) but in 15, yes. They are making their way through all the states. I don't have an issue with them, they can't shoot any farther than a compound bow and
if it increases hunter numbers to piss off those F'en anti MF's, then yes they should be legal.

I overheard(eves dropping)some guys talking a couple weeks ago and one of them was an outfitter and was on a committee that was pushing for crossbows and was telling the other guy that they were close to convincing dow to make them legal during bow season. He said it might happen in the next couple years he was hoping. That's just what I heard, who knows how much of it is true.
