My daughter took her first antelope buck Saturday morning. We were blessed to be given the opportunity to hunt the NRA Whitting Center, thanks in part to the Healing Road Foundation. We started out Friday with my daughter sighting in and getting in some range time, which she was shooting awesome and having a great time doing so. Saturday morning came and there was no shortage of seeing some nice bucks but we spotted this one a short distance away and the stalk was on. After a short stalk she got into a nice shooting position from 218 yards away and pulled the trigger, dropping this buck where he stood. I couldn't be happier than to see the smile on her face.
