Deer draw help!

Here is my situation. I have 3 pp's for deer that i have been building w/ my dad for a deer hunt 2 years from now. I would like to go with a friend who is a beginner to region W next year and hunt.
Is there any way to put in for that region or any other (we just want to kill bucks not too worried about size) where I can draw with my friend second choice and not burn my points? He has 0 points. We are willing to do special draw.
Is there no way to put in for a pref point 1st choice?

Look at the leftovers from this year and then decide on what tag to buy after the draw next year. That's one way. If you put in to draw though you and he could go on a party application for a prime area so that would divide your points by 2 and you would most likely NOT get draw BUT there would be a slim chance you would draw. Then both put in second choice for the area you want and you wouldn't lose your points when you draw second choice. OR apply for the area you two want to hunt as YOUR second choice AND have him apply first choice solo for that area. Every one of these is a gamble to a point ! Lastly you might call the G&F and see if you use a different sportsmans ID number if you can apply with no points as a party with him and after the draw buy points before the ending period to buy after draw and use your primary SID# to guy the points under. YOU really need to check with THEM on this as I am unsure totally about it being legit or not. Just call them and see. The G&F folks are great and will guide you on it so you don't get in trouble and get knocked out of your points doing something in error.
