Depredation cow 144/145

The season open Aug. 1st. I tried searching and didn’t turn much info up. Does anyone have any information they are willing to share? I know this is going to be an extremely difficult hunt with few animals.

Last time my dad and I hunted for mule deer in the diamonds we saw some sign of Elk on the north eastern side of the diamonds. Didn't put eyes on them but they was pretty fresh sign.

Two years ago. My cousin hunted it last year for mule deer and a little further south. He said no sign of Elk there. PM me an I can give you the location you might find something.

I hunted 144 for my archery deer tag last year. Lots of sign on the north end of the diamonds. Never saw an elk but sign everywhere.

There’s a good chance they are in and around the hay fields most of the year.
Probably the reason it’s a depredation Hunt
