Difference in primers

So I was out shooting my Omega last night and I ran out of the regular w209 primers that I normally use. I switched to some Remington 777 primers that I had picked up, and I was consistently shooting anywhere from 3-6 inches low at 100 yards. I shoot 777pellets, 100 grains with Hornady SST 250 sabots. I went out to 200 yards and was pretty discouraged. I shoot red dot scope only( Utah). I know the 777 primers are a little "less hot" than the regular 209. Anyone else have or seen this issue. I will be purchasing w209 primers this week.. The crud ring has never been that big of an issue to me, and I was running patches after every 2 shots.
