Gonna need to hunt the resident deer....hunted late rifle several years ago. Worst hunt I had ever been on, unfortunately. Ate tag soup....saw 2 small forkies the day before opener....not one other buck the next 4 days. Deer didn't migrate in from Pagosa yet. I won't ever put in there again. The are is thick as hell as well. I wish you luck. I'd find a water hole.....maybe that will help you. Good luck!!
