Any suggestions on making this a good experience? My first hunt in MT but have pronghorn hunted in 4 other states. My in-laws grew up in Helena so I have always wanted to hunt in Montana. My father-in-law passed away last fall so will be going solo but will be thinking of how he grew up hunting all over the state in the 1940s and 1950s before he went to Korea then relocated out of state.

My advice would be to start contacting landowners. If you are out of state, get the Block Management book available from Montana FWP. mtmuley
