drew unit 2b

i am a long time watcher of this forum, first time poster.i am a non resident and my son in law and i drew uni 2b, 2nd season.we neither one have ever hunted new mexico and was wondering if anyone could help give us some direction as to where to camp,where to concentrate our efforts(what quadrant of the unit? not looking for anyones honeyhole), what type of hunting it is(glassing, walking, etc), what is the terrian like? Will the deer be up on higher ground at that time?
I have looked at some topo maps but thought getting someones opinion that has been there and/or hunted there would really help.
