Animal rights activists doing it to raise support for their cause. They want to ban all predator hunting. It will probably happen, California's DFG is infected by an ti's and cowtows to their every demand.

At this point why not!! They'll come up with new regulations, such as now requiring you to buy coyote tags. Morale of the story California F&G are weak and pathetic and always has been. Getting worse everyday
