Hey does any one in here ever hunt eastern arizona for mule deer just needing some info for a hunt comming up. around the St. Johns area.

Big country up there. It's alot like the flats of WY & MT. It's high plains. You'll see a ton of pronghorn. Find water and raveens. Typically when the season starts the deer will travel the raveens & gullies to stay out of sight. Stay in your glasses.
Call the AZ G & F and find out who the unit Wildlife Manager is and ask for his phone number and give him a call. The Game Wardens here in AZ are very helpful. I've hunted this state all of my life and I've never run into one that I didn't like.
