Elk 66/69 ID cow elk hunt

Has there been enough snow to get the elk moving at all? Anyone doing good on the cow hunt? How much snow is there? I' m hoping to get out this weekend with my dad and just wondered if anyone has any updates.

My partner was there yesterday, checking McCoy and Brockman areas. Nothing running yet, and few tracks. Only 2-3 inches in the bottoms and flats and only 6-8" up higher. Pray for a couple more storms

Anywhere from 2-12" depending upon the elevation.

No migration yet. Right now they are in small groups holed up in the timber and brush where they spent the summer and early fall. There's a lot of elk in those units so you have a pretty good chance at bumping into some if you just start walking in some thick area's.

Snowing now, so I'm sure there will be a few new inches of snow up there.
