Amazing how dead an accubond makes a rock!
Definitely saw some descent bulls, but it was a tough hunt.
He was a pine warrior. Had pieces of pine and sap all over.
I was really thrilled to be able to harvest such a bull. Going into the hunt I had hoped for a solid 6 point with a good back end. With the time I put into scouting I knew it could be done, but being the 7th day and only having one legit chance prior at a small 7x6 my hopes were diminishing.
My only regret is wishing I could have gotten some on hoof pics/video of my bull. We had intentions of filming the harvest but in the heat of the moment the focus shifted to making sure it happened. I keep trying to replay the scene in my head but I was so focused on shot placement as he weaved in and out of trees that my mind is too hazy concerning the matter.
