Elk in Lolo

First trip to the Lolo Unit and totally understand the predators in this unit have hurt the elk population(or destroyed). Our plan is to start near Kelly's Fork Campground and pack into the burn areas off of the Junction Creek Trail. Good place to start? Yeah or Nay? Of course we will have predator tags in our pockets.

have fun in some beautiful country. Every hill looks like it should hold elk, but as you found out most of its void of elk and you got to find the pockets of elk that are there. There is elk I have lots on camera this year, but also lots of wolves
