firearms transfer laws

Does anyone know what the law is for the private sale of a rifle in Utah? Any documentation or reporting required? Thanks

Even if its not required, its a good idea to transfer the ownership just to protect yourself.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-20-08 AT 11:59PM (MST)[p]Not required unless from a dealer. And I dang sure would never register any gun unless I had to. Even then find someone else willing to put their name on the paper. If your worried about it check it with the local police and go about life.
