First Time Whitetails

LAST EDITED ON Sep-24-11 AT 02:23PM (MST)[p]I just moved to Texas from Utah on a military assignment. I am a lifetime hunter of mule deer and elk, but I have never hunted whitetail deer. When I'm not hunting I like to chase animals with my camera. I have been depressed being here in the middle of the elk rut back in Utah so I went out wandering some wooded areas near my home in the San Antonio city limits. It was the first time my camera lens was able to capture a whitetail. Last night before dark I was able to get a few shots of some decent bucks. Seeing a few bucks has lifted my spirits a little. Enjoy.
