Honestly, I've found over the years that white and flo. pink are the most visible for me. Yellow, green, orange matches A LOT of the high country vegetation in late August to early September.
Is pretty much everything blue or white? What about "target orange"? I though even most color blind people could see that? Just curious.......we used to debate what color of clay targets were best.
I've only been bowhunting for a few years but, as a welder for almost 30 years, my eyes are toast. I have to use bright green or yellows to pick them up. I get teased about them all the time...I had a couple dif styles fletched up to see if I could get the noise down. To my ears, the AAEMax were far quieter than the others here.
Don't know why, but I use 2 blue and one gray blazer vanes, and I always see the blue disappear into the animal. Have not had the same luck with other colors.
Of course this could just be my eyes, and apply to you none at all.
