Found handgun in Wyoming

Stumbled on a very nice handgun while elk hunting last week in Wyoming. Doesn?t look like it's been in the woods long. Would really like to find the owner. If you can tell me the make/model and where you lost it, or serial number, I'll get it to you somehow.

I believe that legally it has to be reported to the area sheriff's office and they will track down the owner.
Probably best way to go, even if the law allows you not to report it.
