I am planning on hiking the Indian Creek Loop this summer. It is a 50 plus mile hike. What should I expect in that drainage? Just wondering if anyone has any experience in that drainage? Is the wildlife abundant or have the wolves ran everything off from there as well. Thanks in advance.

Im assuming the Indian creek drainage in the Frank Church that runs into the middle fork?? Hunted it a few times, but that was in November. When do you plan on hiking it?? You should see some sheep when your in there. Let us know if you do??

Sorry, all of the wildlife in Idaho has been eaten by the wolves. There are 500 wolves in the Frank but only 25 elk left. It's been like this for several years now. Soon the wolves will have to eat tree bark to survive. Enjoy your hike!

It is the Indian Creek that runs into the Middle Fork. I probably wont be going until the beginning of august. Make sure the snow is all gone. I will let you know what I see or dont see. I am probably going alone so it should be a great time. Four days in the Frank cant get much better, not to mention it is considered the most remote hike in the Frank. Thanks for the info, except for the D-Bag comment above.

are you going from indian creek to pistol creek loop? if so i might have a little info.Larry
