Anyone know much about this area? I am considering checking it out if it is worth it. I would be looking at archery deer there.

Place is swarming with hikers. I hunted rifle HCB there twice........ was more worried about hitting a hiker if I missed the deer. The biggest bucks are right at the trailheads along the Independence Pass road. Access from the north is your best bet along Saywer Creek, not as crowded. Don't expect to shoot a monster, good luck.

Thanks. On the hiker end of things it is always billed as being low use. That was part of what interested me in the area.
