gerber blood light

I hope I never have to use it, but I just bought one of these lights that's supposed to show blood better. Anyone have any experience with one? Thanks,CSI-Maine

What an awsome idea, I went to purchase one and the store told me they had discontinued them because of so many reports that they don't work. If you find out different, let us know. Good luck.

Boy that's quite a rapid turn of events. Last October I ordered one after reading about them in a "New Products" section in "American Hunter". It wasn't a field report, just news about the product's introduction to the market. I checked all sorts of web sites that sold them, and every one of them was back ordered over a month due to demand. Something's fishy.

most say a lantern is still the best way to go...
