Gila Bears

A couple of buddies and I are going to get out and look for some bears the first week of the season in August. We're planning on sticking around the 16A/C/D units. Anyone have any helpful info about where to start looking? I've hunted C in the past, and have some ideas, but D and A are new to me.

If you like to walk.... in the wilderness off forest road 157. get back there where the road dead ends. there is a pretty good trail running through there and you can find some nice bears back in there. around cave canyon and further north into las animas canyon.
