Gila Birds

Had a good opening morning down here in the Gila. Was a very slow quite start, didn't hear our first gobble until almost 11:00am. Once those hens left the gobblers for the day however, their attitudes changed and it was on!

I went opening morning trying to get my first Rio Grande turkey, but got my butt kicked once again. I'll be back...

It seams like its pretty slow right now! But they are hen'd up and when the hens go lay eggs! Gobble - goabble time!
