anyone have ideas about getting rid of the glare from muzzy 3 bladed broadheads? the blades seem to be quite reflective. i wondered if any of you had found a solution? paint? telfon?....

i know it is a slow time of year so i was just tinkering with my stuff.

thanks,
jason

my blades lost their luster after a few practice shots. They kept their edge, but they were definately a lot less shiny. I imagine if you hit them very lightly with some matte black spray paint that they would look pretty good. I wouldn't worry about making them black, just dust them.

thanks! i was also thinking coating them with teflon. same concept i guess.

thanks again

I have shot muzzy 3 blades and have not had any problem with the glare, but I have heard that if you burn a match underneath and let the smoke and soot, (not the flame) collect on the blades. The only problem with this is that the soot will wipe off. But this will not add any weight.

Hope this helps.
