Great Basin National Park

I’m in Ely right now. Was wondering if it’s worth seeing and what to check out while there. My son is with me and wants to take some photos. Thanks in advance.

Lehman Caves is probably the only attraction other than scenery.

The old rifle they found laying next to the tree is pretty cool, and the scenery....

I'd imagine there's a number of bucks there around Lehman Caves this time of year, but not sure.

Went today. Almost everything is closed. No wheeler peak rd, no lehman caves, no visitor center to see the rifle, no bucks. But it is a pretty place and was worth the drive. Thanks for all the help.

I was in Southern New Mexico this last week, and wanted to see Carlsbad Caverns. It was the Same way everything closed.Took the scenic route down and saw the Grand Canyon. Most things were open. Spectacular scenery ,and great weather.
