Back in 1972 [when I was 6 years old and missing my front teeth] my father shot a record deer in the Diamond Fork area of Utah. It won the Big Buck contest that year and we got a free truck out of it. Part of the agreement was that the sponsor of the contest could keep the antlers to display, but that my father still owned the antlers. Years later when the sponsor closed down we were supposed to go pick them up but someone had already taken them.
We have looked for years and even looked into a reconstruction but it would cost a fortune. My father contracted Parkinson's Disease a few years ago and is no longer able to enjoy the out of doors. All he has of his hunting glory days are pictures. Due to his health and the mobility problems caused by Parkinson's he pretty much sits home. We are not sure how much longer he will last and want to make one last try to locate the giant of 1972. It would be one of the greatest gifts that I could ever give my father, to locate his trophy for him. 42" spread non-typical. Pictures are attached.
