How bigs this Guadalupe fire Paul?

So how bigs that fire that just started at the south end of the guadalupes Paul? Carlsbad is covered in smoke and there's more and more hotshots showing up in cbad. I can't find anything on it on the Internet or news sites and am curious if u have any info on it.

The increase in acreage was the result of a flight this morning that provided more accurate information on fire size and activity.

That's right where I have hunted many times. Very sad and, it would seem, no immediate end in sight. God Bless those firefighters and God save the good people of Queen and their property.

Finally talley is 49,000 ac. It probably did more good than harm. It cleaned out a lot of brush and cactus. We,ve already seen deer a few elk and cows out in the burn eating the burned off cactus. Seem to like it pretty well.
