How was your bear meat this year

Moved back to MV area after 22 years away and hunted 39 early deer as a NR. Saw more bears than 4 pts. Had multiple opportunities to shoot a bear but held off hoping to knock over a buck. Seen quite a few berry filled scat piles and wondering how prevalent it was to to get a berry bear this year

Turned both of ours into snack sticks. They are terrific.

Just think you could have shot a bear and not been wondering how they tasted. My bear was pretty good, got it in the spring, never had a bad spring bear yet
