You got a couple of options. You can take an online class, then come down for a required field day. We're doing one in Kingman on Nov. 5. You have to complete the online class and register with Phoenix for come to Kingman for the field day. Other field days are offered around the state, check with the G&F website for dates and location. There is a $15 charge to do the online, plus a field day charge in some places.
Second option is that we're doing a one-day, 12-hour supplemental class here in Kingman on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
To take this class, you need to have taken hunter ed in your home state since 1980 and you must fax a copy of your card to Dave Williams in Phx. His number is 623-236-7434. The cost is $8 for that class. This is first come, first serve, so sign up soon if you want to take this class.
We go into a lot more detail about AZ rules and regs, including bonus points and the draw system that you'll find in the online class. Both will get you a permanent bonus point however.
