Well I went back to the spot where I saw the big black from the pictures I posted a couple weeks ago.
Looked all morning but no bruiser black. In the meantime I had been watching this one all morning move in and out of the berrys and openings. I liked the color on this one so I took it.

Thanks for taking a look.
I shot it about 50 miles N of Boise up in unit 39.
I have more pictures but they look pretty much the same as this one. I was on a steep ridge and really not much chance to get to creative with the picture taking. Took them all with the 10 second timer with my camera balanced on my pack.
