Inheritance guns

We are moving my parents into a 55+ community. They are getting rid of the vast majority of their stuff. I ended up with these three guns. I thought they were pretty cool. I think my grandpa got the 30-30 and the pistol new. The Teddy Roosevelt “big medicine” lever gun I’m not sure the history but having a lever gun in .30-06 just seems awesome.

Ruger Mark 1 .22
Winchester Model 1885 lever action in .30-06
Winchester Model 94 .30-30

I love the 1895 carbine....."big Medicine" was the 405wcf....

I have the same 94 as that...mine was manufactured in 1925....and the same MK 1

Right, I was just meaning the gun-not the chambering.

for sure......on John Browning.

If it isn't too late already....keep your eyes open for the steel butt plate for that 1895....it might be in your dad's things.

You should check with the Cody museum and see if you can get a letter on that 1895, some of the info on those letters is amazing!

I tried this once for a savage serial number since they have all that amd savage doesn't on older models. Museum wanted one heck of a membership fee to get the info

I’ve already taken these three to the pawn shop. Got $1800 for the lot. Now I can get that RC car I’ve been drooling over at the local hobby shop.

Nice!!! I have a Ruger mk.1 and a couple model 94s, Always thought those model 95s were a cool rifle, of course you got to fire them up now !!!
