Nice bear man! It puzzles me but all of the best bears ive seen come out of 43 have been in the 3rd rifle season.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-18-10 AT 09:31PM (MST)[p]The only bear I saw besides this one was a pretty cinnamon which did not give me a shot. The hair on the belly was lacking a bit so a standing mount probably will not look to good. Enclosed is the hillside of the kill. A straight away shot at 575 yrds with a 300 ultra mag to the neck did the job. Not sure if I will ever shoot anything on that nasty mountain side again!
