K I am going to try this again, only earlier than a week before the hunt.
I will be hunting deer on the Manti unit this year. I drew a dedicated permit. I usually hunt the first whole week of the archery hunt for deer. Then I usually only hit the weekends till the last week of the any bull unit for archery elk.
I will have cameras up and be out scouting for a decent buck before the hunt starts. I like to pack in a tent and set up camp then hunt in the area for a few days. I usually pull my trailer up to a spot a few miles from where I hunt for a base camp. I usually hike a lot.
For the elk hunt I am going to hunt above vernal or in Kamas. I know both the areas really well. This hunt will be a pack in hunt for 5-7 days. I really hike a lot during this hunt.
