Looking for Info on Unit 120 ELK

Should be drawing my tag there next year and just looking for some general information. If you have hunted this unit in past and know much about about it could you please send me a pm on a good area to start when scouting. Looking for quality of the bulls, can you bow hunt this unit if you draw a the rifle tag? Also thinking of doing the cow calf tag, is that worth it, are there a fair number of cows. Anything will help. Thanks

I don't know that area much at all. I don't think it is considered a premium elk spot. Harvest data looks good in terms of odds. I'd try to connect with the warden in that area, though that can be difficult this time of year.
