Lookout Mountain Elk?

If anyone has spent anytime in Lookout I'd like to pick your brain about what I'm planning for next year.

I'd prefer pm's as I have some areas picked out that I need to run by those who have been there.

Btw, this is for rifle season.

I hunt birds there a lot, and know locals that hunt it, but I never have hunted elk there. as little public ground as there is you could shoot me a PM , I might have some knowledge on it.

In short there's some great elk on the unit, but the limited amount of public ground concentrates the hunters so don't let the low tag numbers fool you. making matters worse a lot of that public ground is very open and it's easy to boo them onto the private.

if you like the style of hunting required it might be for you, it's not for me.
