Meadowville Late Elk

I was looking into this unit for my father in law. He has a few points (7 or 8) and would like to kill a 300 type bull. Any info on this unit or any other units that he may have a good chance at getting a bull, would be great.

Lots of private land, especially on the late hunt. 300 should not be a problem. With that many points North Cache could be an option, probably not as many elk as on the South.

Alot depends on the snow and if you know anybody with some access to private ground or access through private ground to get to public ground. I know the North side has a lot more public national forest but then again so does every one else.

meadowville is a descent unit if you know where to go. i prefer the cache south unit for the quality of elk and the size of the actual unit. i have been hunting in that area for years and found that cache south has the better bulls. i've been watching a 360 class bull in that area for two years now
