Odds were stacked against me on that pic.. deer was over 250yds off, wind blowing about 50mph whipping those saplings in front of him and heavy falling pebble size hail. He was leaving in a hurry trying to get down to the creek to get out of it. And I was shaking like crazy because I got to the field dressed for 40s and a front blew in and dropped it down in the 20s. 20s in East Tx is a very damp bone-chilling type of cold.

Great pics Packmule. My favorite pic is the muley screened behind the juniper and scrub oak.
Nothing like a big buck staring from behind cover to get you pumped.

Eldorado

Thanks. No doubt about it pumping you up. That buck was the first one we actually saw trying to cover some ground during the day, but it was one of the only ones. Got lucky that trip and found a decent buck first morning of scouting and he stayed put for 10 days.
