Need a little more info. Which section, and what are you looking for in a bull?

just a good representation of a shirias moose just anyone in that eastern Idaho area I understand the region has been less effected by the wolf population

Here's a nice one from last year that would work for you then. One from the easy end of the Unit. As far as outfitters, go in the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Assoc. (IOGA) website and it will show all the licensed ones. There have been some in the past who were guiding without a license, and it pays to do your homework.

Don't know that's necessarily the case (about wolves) in 61. I've not seen the moose numbers for the past 10-15 years that I saw in the 80's and 90's.
SE Idaho might be better for numbers and an outfitter like Bear Paw Outfitters might be worth talking to though I don't know them. Good luck. Blixen

I helped on a hunt for moose in 61 last year - not a hard hunt and lots of roads...Saw lots of bulls. The hunter I helped shot a 47" bull 200 yards off the road.
