More Poachers bite the dust

So, as usual, the state lost a pile of animals, and the taxpayers lost a ton of money.

$50,000 doesn't come close to recouping the investigators time

It said $50 k collectively and individually does that mean each one had to pay $50 k plus $50k as a group or all together.

Small price to pay for breaking the laws for years

It is very hard to catch them and a lot of Game Wardens or LEO's depend on the public for assistance. There are many miles and roads and only so many LEO'S to go around.

I agree though the restitution for 48 or however many animals should of been WAY MORE than $50K. In Oregon each animal is worth $1K if a deer or antelope or $7500K if considered trophy class. Any elk is worth $5K, $15K trophy class.

What I'm getting at is 48 animals and 31 misdemeanor citations should of been over $100K and lifetime suspensions IMO......................
