Good job, sheadhead. Care to go into detail a bit on the shot. that is an interesting picture with the arrow. Those shots can be hard to revcover, but you obviously got it done.. Nice work. not being critical, just curious how it went down?
I did a ton of pre-season scouting and found a good looking waterhole. He came in with two other bucks to about 30 yards pretty much dead on to me but slightly quarting away. The angle is pretty sharp but figured I could thread one in there as I have been practicing all summer so I let one fly as his nose touched the water. I hit one lung, went through the diagphram, and through liver. He went about 500 yards but the open country was good for that.
mtshedhead, I seem to remember hunting with you a time or two. I remember this one opening morning you were with me and brother and cousin and some people and we ended up walking all the way out, saw a couple nice bucks too.
