Some good bucks in that country if you hunt hard. There’s lots of negativity towards unit 2b and 2a but the potential is definitely there!

All the negativity toward 2a and 2b is due to the low % of older bucks. For how difficult it is to draw, we as hunters sometimes have too high of exceptions for difficult to draw tags. The area has fantastic genetics and there will be always be a few older bucks with big antlers but they will be difficult to find. They don't get old by being stupid. Go on your hunt and give it hell. I hope you turn up a giant buck, if not it will still be an adventure.
