mulie hunting colorado

hey guys seeing if i could get some input on mulie hunting unit 11/211 in colorado. see if i can get a heads up on what the hunting is like. i've also looked at unit 12 for a backup plan.
these hunts will be during the 3rd rifle season.i can trade idaho elk/mulie hunting info also!

Lot of hunting pressure on public ground. Lot of deer on private ground. History of a lot of good bucks from that area. Best if you can research good private land to lease if you can afford it.

Watch out in Unit 11. There is a Lot of Private land within the public land, It DOES NOT need to be marked and no sometimes no fences so look at your Topo maps, Pick one up at the DOW right off of 64 near Meeker. It is just before hgway 13 on 64 going towards Meeker.
I know that I have seen many Bucks if that is what you are going for. Does are all over. Need to go deep into the Unit though for Buck or at least a decent one.

I have a doe tag as I already got my 5x4 muley this past weekend during archery so I need to get my doe in 11 as there were no leftovers in 22, I am also going for my elk in 22.

2nd season this year though.

What tag did you pull?

Hunted 11/211 3 years ago during 3rd season. Seen plenty of bucks and elk. Didn't have elk permits and as we sat on a ridge a whole heard of elk walked by at 50 yards. At least a dozen legal bulls with a couple of them very good sized 6x6's. Fun units to hunt. We been hunting unit 22 lately, another fun unit to hunt.
