My Lucky Daughter

My 14 year old daughter was invited by one of her good friends to go to the Mid-State Fair and see Sugarland the other night. My daughter has a heart condition and unrelated to that, she has a pacemaker. She's had a rough go of things but has always had a great attitude. She's a straight A student and plays 3 sports. She's just a GREAT kid. Anyway, right before Sugarlands intermission, the guy from Sugarland (guitar player) comes down in the crowd as he's completing the song they were doing. He walked up to my daughter and handed her his signed guitar. Is that awesome or what? It brought tears to my eyes cuz she needs special things like that in her life. I really think that is a gift from God paying her back for the bad things He's made her go through. Here's a pic of her on the way home...

Wisz does your daughter play the guitar ? After that cool gift I imagine she will want to use that guitar , that is if she can make the time . Sounds like she is pretty busy with sports and school .

Either way I'm sure she will be keeping that gift close to her for some time .

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. Whats cool is that there was instructions taped to the guitar stating that if she learns to play guitar, to video it and sent it in to their website. Pretty cool idea if you ask me. She's one stoked little girl.
