any body have any info on the frenchman unit?...public vrs private...how are the landowners for permission...I am willing to trade info for info...

Excellent deer quality - lots of private land. Pheasant hunting is a bonus. The muzzleloader season sees very little pressure and archery even less. Try knocking on doors in the evening hours. The area around Benkelman to McCook is a great place to start.
