Need help here!

Never baited before. I got several nice bears coming to my bait in at night and one monster, but I need to get them coming in the daylight. Any suggestions would be helpful. I've tried everything I can think of.

Try making some bear crack a few hours before hand at the sight, the smell of it might make them come in sooner.

Or, get a bear call and do either a mating moan or challenge, either one may make the dominant bear come in earlier and give you a shot.

I've been baiting up in Idaho for a month and haven't even been hit, I'm sure my bait is sent free by now and most of it is gone to other critters.

You baiting in Utah?

LAST EDITED ON May-28-13 AT 02:40PM (MST)[p]Trick is making competition between bears. Baiting with less bait more often is what has worked for us. They know they have to beat the other bears to get any. Not sure what your using for attractant, but if you have anything smell related hanging I'd make sure it gets refreshed too.
