I applied for BC Archery Deer this year w/7 points and thought I had a reasonable chance of drawing. Because of that I put my son in for AW North Cache Late just in case.
Well wouldn't you know it, with only 5 points he drew and I did not.
We are from Cache Valley and I can find elk in September, but I don't have much experience with these later season dates Nov. 12-20.I suppose it all depends on the amount of snowfall.
I'm just wondering if anyone had any advice or experience with these late season hunts in the cache areas.
Feeling a little guilty about investing his points for him.
