I had this tag a few years ago and wished I scouted a bit more before I went. I had some good spots referred to me that I didn't know were hosed by people making illegal quad trails until I packed in for hours and saw them on top of the mountain that was supposed to only be accessible by foot. My advice is get the biologist info then spend a day or two out in the field marking up a map with the illegal quad trails. This will allow you to spend more time hunting isolated areas if that's what you prefer. Although it is illegal people still use them and it can be very frustrating if you didn't know the illegal road was there. I did see one 180 class buck but was never able to get within shooting distance and when he was chased by a quad, made his way for Oregon.
